Reap what I sow

If I live to see the flowers break the earth
If I live to see all those I've hurt
If I reap what I sow
Pain is all I know to grow
It's a bitter taste
all the herbs
I water it with my tears
I shed them on the earth.

If I live to see them grow
If they can change from all I've known
If I can reap what I sow

If I pluck each flower petal
Will that teach me the difference between dandelion and nettle?
It's not what I've seen
But it's what I know
If what I reap is what I sow.
